Tami Vandergriff Ministries is looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:
Dining Committee: Volunteers will help with decorating the main dining hall, planning, and preparing meals, setting up and serving, as well as cleaning up after events. Members will work directly with the Dining Coordinator. The meal and dining room atmosphere is extremely important in making each event a success!
Main Hall Committee: Volunteers will work directly with the Main Hall Coordinator to ensure that the venue is welcoming and aesthetically appealing. If you have a creative mind and a talent for decorating, this may be your calling. Other duties include dimming lights, setting up and distributing communion as well as taking up offering. The committee coordinator will assign duties based on the volunteers’ abilities and preferences. All volunteers are expected to assist with set up and clean up after events.
Media/Technology Team: Are you tech savvy? Do you use power point regularly? Do you have experience working a sound booth? We need volunteers to help in this area. You will need your own laptop computer to take to events for presentations. We can give you access to the program we use and all the tools you will need. All volunteers are expected to assist with set up and clean up after events.
Welcome Committee: The welcome committee is the first face of TVM. Team members are the first impression of TVM. Extraverts needed. You can be a greeter or an assistant showing someone to their seat. Perhaps, you might help with the registration and distributing the swag bags. We need table greeters as well. You could also be a “friend for the day” for any guest that comes alone. Nobody likes to sit alone. All volunteers are expected to assist with set up and clean up after events.
Dorm Committee: Members of this committee have an important role for our retreats. They are responsible for decorating the dorms, keeping coffee and snacks available, placing out take-aways, and much more. These ladies are versatile. They are the backbone of our conference ministry. For conferences, they are floaters. They help in all different areas and our always there to help with a smile on their face. All volunteers are expected to assist with set up and clean up after events.
